With books turning to mainstream commercial films and short stories, the culture of reading is losing its essence with the masses especially youngsters.
Reading a book always develops a great power of imagination. The reader imagines the characters, creates the moments of magic, fantasizes the backdrop and even adds some ingenious music.
With every Friday, a new film hits the screen and every other film is an adaptation .A story based on a novel. The best sellers often find their space on the box office. The people who have already read the book go to the cinema halls with high expectations hoping that their favorite characters will come to life. While on the other hand for a person with no familiarity with original work, it is yet another relaxing entertainer.
Turning a piece of literary work, fiction or non-fiction is of great responsibility. The active readers always have notion of comparing moments of the book with that of the film. Even a best seller can turn into a flop with poor direction claiming the good will of the author.
