Mentally challenged person mistaken as braid chopper thrashed in Sopore, rescued
FIR registered culprits identified
Today in a heartrending episode Sopore police got information that a mob had got hold of an alleged braid chopper in fruit mandi area.
As a result a police party rushed to spot and found that a mob was beating one person ruthlessly.The miscreants had also burnt some grass and were trying to set the person ablaze.Some miscreants were trying to run a tractor over him.
The person was rescued and identified as Wasim Ahmad Tantray reportedly mentally challenged Son of Gh Nabi Resident of Shakwara at present Puth Khah Nowpora Sopor. The said person was immediately rushed to SDH Sopore. Condition of injured is stated to be critical and has been referred to Srinagar.
This level of absolute barbarity brings lot of shame to the great values that Kashmir has inherited , and is infact a matter of tight slap on our ethos .It also brings into question the way we have raised our generation next as we simply have reduced ourselves to bunch of hooligans with no thinking brains .
If situation continues like this the day is not far away when we would be brutal extremists with neither any direction nor any thought .
Sopore incident has shown us the mirror of our ugly realities now we need to take lessons .
