As the chaos, confusion is writ large in other parts of India with reference to exchanging notes, cash crunch and people even dying in long ques, but here in Kashmir no such issues are seen and neither the banks are over flooded with customers. Analysts state that Long budgeting attitude of Kashmir, keeping sufficient food stock, less crushing poverty are making the things easier for people of Kashmir.

Irfan Khan, a student stated – “It is reality that not many problems have been witnessed here in Kashmir as opposed to other states. Ample food stock coupled with futuristic vision makes the scenario out here different from other parts of India. The situation here is not that alarming out here and we do not see.much panic as well.”

Whatever be the pros and cons of the demontesing issue, the situation in Kashmir to this aspect looks much calmer when compared to other parts.
