Islamic Front, Quit Kashmir Movement outfits also claim responsibility

Srinagar, Apr 03 : Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) on Monday claimed the responsibility for Pantha Chowk attack in which six CRPF men and a girl were injured.




In an emailed statement to KNS a spokesperson of LeT Dr Abdullah Gaznavi quoting outfit chief Mehmood Shah while claiming the responsibility for the attack announced award for commander Abu Musa, who according to them carried the attack.

After the failed visit of Indian Prime Minister, Indian agencies are worried and are now trying to target Hurriyat leadership and defaming mujahideen. We warn India that if it harms any of the Hurriyat leaders, its onus will lie on India. India’s duel policy will never succeed.

While appealing the international human rights organisations to take cognizance of civilian killings “carried out by the Indian troops in Kashmir” he alleged, “India has converted whole Kashmir into a cantonment and they are carrying worst kind of atrocities on Kashmiri people. The youth are being killed.”




Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Front spokesperson Hamza Rasheed in an emailed statement and Quit Kashmir Movement (QKM) spokesperson in a tele-statement to KNS also claimed the responsibility for the attack. (KNS)
