Arresting, releasing and re-arresting Malik clearly shows the moral bankruptcy of so-called rulers: Basher Ahmad

Srinagar | June 12: Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik who was released in open court by special judge TADA court Kashmir on 11th June 2016 , has been again arrested by police. Police cordoned Yasin sahibs residence minutes after on 11th June 2016 and arrested him .He was shifted to Kothibagh police station where he is being still kept. Yasin sahib was arrested by police on 25th May 2016 from his office Abiguzar. On 28th may he was shifted to central jail Srinagar and after the intervention of high court he was granted bail and released on 3rd of June 2016. On the same day during night hours, his residence and locality was attacked by SOG and police who wanted to re-arrest him again. Yasin sahib was then again arrested on 4th June 2016 and was booked for a 29 year old TADA case registered against various MUF leaders in 1987. He was again shifted to central jail on the same day and day before on 11th June 2016 he was released on bail during day time but again arrested after few hours at evening. Terming the re-arrest of Yasin sahib as clear frustration of ruling regime and their authorities, JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad butt said that arresting, releasing and re-arresting Yasin sahib clearly shows the moral bankruptcy of so-called rulers who are such afraid of Yasin popularity that they have no idea about how to deal with him on political level. That is why these so-called champions of democracy always use police force, jails and arrests against Yasin sahib. Butt sahib said that Yasin sahib is a known political leader who has courage to with stand all these atrocities. He said that by keeping Yasin sahib and other resistance leaders in jails so-called rulers will only gain more and more shame. Butt sahib said that so-called rulers must know that their oppressive measures cannot deter us from perusing the path of freedom and voices of Kashmris against conspiratorial plots like separate colonies for Pandits, Sainkiks, industrial policy and tyranny against Jammu Muslims cannot be suppressed by this Policegiri and other suppressive methods.

while paying rich tributes martyr Tufail Ahmad Matoo who was killed in cold blood by police on 11th June 2010, Butt sahib said that more than 129 young boys and girls were massacred by police and other forces in 2010 but today’s rulers who used to take out protest rallies again the killers of these young boys are now busy shielding them and providing them legal cover. Butt sahib said that hypocritical politics of these rulers has been exposed by Tufail shaheed like cases and it is clear now that all pro-India politicians and parties are nothing but stooges of Indian forces and they are only deployed to provide a legal cover to these trigger happy Indian soldiers. Butt sahib while paying glowing tributes to martyr Tufail and other martyrs said that this nation is indebted to these martyrs and their sacrifices. (PTK)
