Srinagar, November 13: Two militants have been killed in a brief shootout at Rajwar in Handwara area of Kupwara district, a senior police official said.
SDPO Handwara, Shabir Khan told GNS that two militants have been killed in the shootout after they fired upon joint party of police and army near Galganzer, Zacheldara in Rajwar area of Handwara this evening. The attack, they said, was repulsed by cops.
“In the exchange of gunfire, two militants have been gunned down,” the SDPO said, adding that their identities are being ascertained.(GNS)
