In an ongoing encounter Commanding officer was injured on Wednesday with militants near LoC in Tangdhar region of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources injured officer is deputy commander of 104 Brigade Tangdhar.
Reports said “A group of militants earlier took place in Darshak forests adjacent to Kalsuri ridge where the fierce gunbattle is going on since 8:17 am today.
Earlier, a soldier was killed and an employee of army’s engineering department was injured in the exchange of gunfire.
