Three militants are expected in the fidayeen attack on an army base in Tangdhar area of Kupwara, police said.
They are probably fidayeens said SSP Kupwara Aijaz Ahmad.
According to Army sources “they have engaged the militants and gun battle is going on. He didn’t provide more a details.
However, sources in police and army said a group of militants threw grenades at the army base, setting oil depos and several vehicles on fire at the Kalsuri ridge near Line of Control in Tangdhar area of Kupwara district at around 8 am.
