A person once dead can never breathe again. But what happened with this 55-year old woman in Karachi is really shocking. She was believed to be dead but came back to life on Monday, September 21, in Karachi Pakistan. The incident took place when the old women namely Manzoora Bibi was brought to Edhi mortuary staff for bathing her body prior to burial.

Woman dies in Karachi, comes back to life after eight hours?

As per Edhi Foundation spokesman Anwar Qazi , Manzoora was being given gusul, when she suddenly got up and started reciting the kalma. He further said that the organisation receives around 20-25 bodies a day for burial but this particular incident came as a shock to the staffers and family members of Manzoora.

A slip had been written up for record-keeping purposes when her body had been received by mortuary officials. The officials had not been able to find out why she had been believed to be dead.

Manzoora was later sent back with her family from Edhi morgue to her home, Dumba Goth in Karachi, Pakistan.
