Srinagar March 3 (KNB): A Senior Army official shot himself dead of Lieutenant Colonel rank in Khonmoh area in outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday.
According to reports, the officer identified as Sudeep Baghat Singh committed suicided by shooting himself with his service rifle.
After the gunshots, soldiers rushed to the spot and found the officer dead.
He was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said. (KNB)
