On the otherhand, students have been agitating for deferment of exams for 10th and 12th class, as schools have remained closed for over three months and the students have not been able to complete their syllabus. Education Minister Naeem Akhter is on record that no concession in syllabus will be given. Chairman BOSE Prof Zahoor Ahmed has reiterated stand of the Government that it will go ahead with the scheduled examinations of class 12th and class 10th, commencing from mid-November. He said that they are aware that student protests are taking place and that authorities are ready to give concession to the students, but students have not made any representations before the BOSE authorities about their grievances and demands.
