Sajjad Lone’s workers to attend Modi rally

Kashmir Scenario News Desk

Srinagar Dec 7: In the run up for the Chief Ministerial post, Sajad Gani Lone seems to be doing everything possible for the BJP. If sources are to be believed workers of the Peoples Conference seem set to take part in the Narinder Modi’s election rally scheduled on 8th December at Sheri Kashmir Cricket stadium, Srinagar.

It is interesting to mention here that the announcement was made on the mobile address system that the next Chief Minister of the state, Sajad Gani Lone is going to address an election rally in support of the party candidate for the Budgam constituency, Mohammad Kamal Malik at Soibugh on Dec 6.

“It was a big surprise for the people of the valley that Sajad Gani Lone has struck a secret deal with the BJP in his meeting with the Prime Minister last month in New Delhi. The meeting was quite unusual and meaningful as well because the assembly election was round the corner at the time pof the meeting,” said Zahoor Ahmad from Soibugh.

Zahoor said that during the rally Peoples conference chief said that the meeting with the Prime Minister was nothing but purely courtesy in nature because it was in his mind that the people of the valley were taken by surprise with this development and are not ready to accept his clarification. People of the valley are analysing that on whose assurances Narinder Modi has decided to conduct the election rally. One can see the ground reality which is not in favour of BJP and this stands proved given the poor turn outs in the rallies of the party.

“It has been learnt from the sources and it appeared in the local dailies of the valley that the matter stands resolved that the workers from the Peoples Conference party will make it to the Sheri Kashmir stadium on December 8, which will be ferried in thousands of vehicles and for which security plan has also been worked out,” said Manzoor Ahamd from Srinagar.

Manzoor said that why the Peoples Conference is open to the BJP is because that the BJP has assured him the post of Chief Minister otherwise how it is possible that it is publically announced that Sajad Gani Lone, the next Chief Minister of the state is going to address the election rally. The memories have not expunged from the minds of the people who have to say that till very recently he used to spoke as a separatist leader and it is the fact that his Party is still a member party of the hurriyat conference (Mirwaiz faction).

“How many faces these people have as they sail in the two boats. On one hand they advocate freedom of Kashmir from India and on the other hand they conduct secret meetings with the Prime Minister of India to taste the chair of power,” said some people at Sheikpora Budgam.
