MASOOD MUNTAZAR
Peer Masood popularly known as Masood Muntazar is a highly talented and versatile camera savvy face of Kashmir. As a successful Theater Artist, Small Screen Actor, Anchor Masood has stamped his authority on diverse realms of entertainment & infotainment.
Born and brought up in Kishtwar, Masood Muntazar as a child was shy and had surprisingly refused his first theater act after getting “Audience fright” but after just a year he mustered the courage and acted in the theatre play and then never looked back as at a very young age he received best theatre actor award.
He interestingly had made the jury to wait for considerable time before getting the award thus getting the title “Muntazar”. Masood Muntazar did his Education M.A. from Jammu University and did considerable theater activities in Kashmir after completing academic education.
When turmoil hit, theater activities in the state were reduced as a result Masood Muntazar also tried his skills in hosting and anchoring. In this sphere too, he has won lot of accolades. He has for majority of the times anchored the best and famous show of Doordarshan Kashmir -Good morning J&K, and has been the number one choice of viewers from several years.
Masood has also acted in number of serials and dramas and his acting style has won him many laurels .He on basis of his superb acting skills has won millions of hearts.
He remained associated with valley’s top Electronic channel Take One and did some viewer favorite programmes from here. When Zee Entertainment Enterprises started Zee Kashmir in Srinagar, Masood was engaged as programmer there and later he was given full-fledged charge of the channel in the valley.

Masood Muntazar has also anchored programmes like Sitaaron Say Aagey.Masood Muntazar believes that hard work and honesty are the qualities needed to make it big in life and he stresses on new anchors and artists to follow these qualities.
He is also of firm belief that in order to be a successful anchor one needs to read a lot and take constant aid of internet in this regard. Masood Muntazar also believes that a proper contract system should be introduced for anchors in our part of the world and firmly holds the view that until viewers love ones skill he or she is going to remain at top.

Azhar Hajini; Dynamic Media Persona
Blessed with stunning looks and impressive broadcasting voice Azhar Aziz famously known as Azhar Hajini is a hardworking and multitalented guy, born on 25th may 1986. At this ripe age he has captured hearts of thousands of listeners and viewers via his hard work and talent. His talent, inborn confidence and never giving up attitude has given him a definite edge over others. He has degree of masters, post graduate diploma in journalism, vani certificate course, certificate course in cinematography and various other technical courses. At the age of 13 he started working for radio and TV and is since then riding on the wave as an actor, anchor, RJ, News Caster etc. Being associated with valleys old theatre group Wahab Dramatic Club Hajin. He has participated in various theatre productions in different capacities.

As an anchor, first break was given to him by Kaunsar Parveen television programme executive and Azhar came upto her and viewers expectations by doing his maiden television programme (Baman) so brilliantly. Similarly Azhar started as a radio presenter from FM 102.6 and his maiden live programme from the station was “ Ap kay khat Ap kay Geet “ . He continued to be favorite voice of many and did famous programmes from CBS (102.6 FM) and Radio Kashmir like Sabras, Payam e Subh, Aj ki surkhiyaan etc. After qualifying news reading auditions of Doordarshan and Radio, this beautiful presenter read Urdu news from both the stations at peak hours for about two years and his presentation skill were applauded by viewers and listeners. In the capacity of a freelance producer he has made several documentaries especially on the life of revered Sufis of Kashmir and life style of people living in far flung and cut cutoff areas of the valley. He has been model in some Advertisements. His role in advertisement .about JK Bank Educational loan is often telecasted on TV. Azhar has also acted in about two dozen TV Serials and scores of Radio Plays.
Azhar has enjoyed a successful stint in the World of electronic & Broadcast media. On popular electronic channel Take One Azhar anchored popular programmes used to interact with minsters and other officials of administration about various burning issues & another program which he did for the channel for about one year was mulaqat in which he used to call on the show people from different walks of life.
Azhar is currently anchoring “Good Morning JK” one of the most popular socio cultural morning shows of (Kashir Channel) and has recently started a youthful, entertaining and informative programme, ‘Whats up’ from 103.5 FM. Azhar hosts the 45 minute programme live and interacts with listeners about some burning issue and keeps the show live with his dude attitude and energetic voice. Playing a Track and then interacting over phone to the lyricist and Singer of the particular song is another navel and beautiful part of programme ‘Whats up’.
Azhar has also impressively anchored innumerable events and festivals and always liked by the audience.
Behind this awe-inspiring success at a young age, his soul inspiration has been his father all the way who makes him excel and encourage him to touch newer heights of his career.

Mantasha Binti Rashid
Mantasha Binti Rashid, who is known very well among the viewers of our state as the anchor of one of the popular TV shows in Kashmir Sitaroon Sey Aagey telecasted on Doordarshan Kashmir on every Sunday .She happens to be yet another dynamic youthful camera savvy face of our state .
She is also a Kashmir Administrative Officer. Interestingly enough; the programme she hosts has had its main thrust in providing awareness about the career oriented programmes especially about the administrative services to the students of Kashmir.
Mantasha was studying in the IST year in the year 2005 when she got a break. She was called up by her teacher from schooldays who hosted this show Sitaroon Sey Aagey those days. Actually, co anchor of the show had expired and they wanted a filler.
Mantasha was passionate about a career in media although she was doing B.sc and this offer in a way was like a dream come true, in a small way though for her.
She is also a Kashmir Administrative Officer. Interestingly enough; the programme she hosts has had its main thrust in providing awareness about the career oriented programmes especially about the administrative services to the students of Kashmir.
She began as a co anchor with his teacher Sahabzada Muzaffar who was later replaced by Raouf Rasool.
She believes that she has learnt a lot from Raouf, about media and about life too.
In five years from 2005-2009 she became the lead anchor of the show. Viewers and producers liked her spontaneity which is very important in hosting live shows.
She went to Delhi for a year or so and meanwhile she cracked her state civil service exam.
In a lecture in revenue training institute in 2011 when she was serving as a probationer, a retired Assistant commissioner revenue, who himself is a prominent TV host suggested her to join back as a host in the same show.
