Kashmir valley has become synonymous with tragedies, misfortunes, blindings and killings in 2016.Teargas Shelling and chaos has defined life in Kashmir in the summer of 2016, with people wailing and chest beating in memory of their lost ones becoming the order of the day.
90 odd civilian killings , 13000 injured and hundreds blindings has defined the tragedy for three months in Kashmir .Many are expressing surprise that PDP despite offering sky and life free from unrest, pain and agitation in Kashmir .
The government’s failure even to recognise the nature of Tragedy signals that grim situation is in no way going to get solved and may further aggravate .
Kashmir can only be addressed when reasons of tragedies are addressed- Several reasons for this trend have been cited such as the absence of a political dialogue, the lack of economic opportunities, frustration due to high unemployment, excessive militarisation of the public space and repeated human rights violations by the security forces and they need solution.
For PDP to have any face-saver and ease the situation , the difficulty of situation calls to address meaningful resolution of matters that matter most.Otherwise, for the moment Kashmir continues to remain in grip of gruesome tragedies.
