Srinagar 15 March (KNB): Senior Political Leader Imran Reza Ansari has resigned from the post of General Secretary of Jammu Kashmir Peoples Conference today.
Reza Ansari announced his resignation on his personnel twitter handle.
The tweet said, As our Party JKPC is growing and lots of leaders have started joining this caravan of change I am requesting my party president Sajad Lone to accept my resignation from the post of general Secretary effective today.
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau, Imran Reza Ansari said, “Since many people want to join us (party), I believe that all the posts of party should be available for them.”
He added, “After the leaders join us, we’ll make the call about how things should be (in the party).”
Upon being asked about the rumors that Raza Ansari has quit JKPC, he squashed the rumors and said, “It is nothing like that.” (KNB)
