Handwara boy acquire first position in IInd examination

TKSNN: Faizan Mushtaq  from North Kashmir’s Handwara Thursday stunned everyone by topping the 12th standard examinations, securing 491 each out of 500 in the Science stream.

Faizan Mushtaq, a student of Welkin Higher Secondary school, Sopore and Junaid-ul-Islam, Government Higher Secondary School, Handwara, have secured 491 out of 500 marks each in 12th examinations held last year.

A total number of 51391 candidates appeared in 12th class examinations and 52 percent students have qualified. The figures provided by BOSE stated that 88 students, 63 girls and 35 boys, have secured first ten positions.

In Art’s stream, Iram Sheikh of Government Higher Secondary school Baramulla has secured 485 marks. Thirteen students, 10 girls and three boys, have secured first ten positions in Arts stream.

Dhan Kumari having Commerce subjects of Government Higher secondary school, Amira kadal has secured 489 marks.
Seventeen students, 13 girls and four boys, in Commerce stream have secured first 10 positions.

In Home Science, Bintul Islam of Jamiat-ul-banat has secured 474 marks. All the first 10 positions in this stream have secured by girls.
