Srinagar, June 21: While strongly condemning the vandalizing the offices of an Urdu Daily “Al-Safa” and an English Daily “Precious Kashmir” by the Srinagar Municipal Cooperation (SMC), Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani demanded impartial investigation into the incident.
In a statement issued to GNS, he said that the freedom of press has no takers in the Jammu Kashmir government and the today’s incident is its fresh example. Geelani assured the owners, editors and the staff of both the newspapers that we are with them against this hooliganism. (GNS)
