Washington 21 January (KNB): Signing series of executive orders, President of the United States of America Joe Biden reversed several Trump-era policies, including ‘Muslim Travel Ban’ which blocked travel into US from several Muslim and African countries.

During his first day at office, Joe Biden reversed the travel ban, which restricted travel to United States for the citizens of Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Myanmar, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, Tanzania and North Korea.

46th President of United States also Halted the ‘Trump’s Wall’ construction along the US-Mexico border, revoked Trump’s order excluding non-citizens from the census count, extended relief for Liberians, sent comprehensive immigration legislation to Congress, ramped down “remain in Mexico” program and revoked Trump’s interior enforcement executive order.

Meanwhile, Muslims of United States and around the world expressed a sense of relief after Biden signed executive order rolling back the Muslim Travel ban which was enacted by Donald Trump in 2017. (KNB)
