JKNPP’s President Balwant Singh Mankotia Resigns

Jammu 10 February (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) President and two times MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia, resigned from his party on Wednesday.

Mankotia said that he resigns from the membership and all the responsibilities of JKNPP which were given to him. “I resign from the party before any matter is revealed in the media and to the outsiders,” said Mankotia in a video uploaded on Social Media site Facebook.

He said that he is taking this decision in a hurry because he has very little time. “That is why I am making a decision without the opinions of other members of the party,” Mankotia said, adding, “I also appeal to Bhim Singh that Harsh Dev Singh is capable of carrying the party’s affairs and should be given its all responsibilities.”

He also said that he seeks an apology from Bhim Singh for not fulfilling the invitation given to him for the party’s Presidency. (KNB)
