An encounter between militants and government forces broke out in Hajin area of Bandipora district on Thursday morning, police said.
According to sources, firing has started between hiding militants and the government forces while as fresh reinforcement of forces has been rushed to the area.
“Two to three militants are trapped in the Khosh-Mohalla village of Haijin area of bandipora district,” Police said.
