4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Kuril Islands

A low intensity  earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale, with epicentre in KURIL ISLANDS of Japan and the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia, struck parts northern east on Wednesday night.

According to the National Seismological Department, Ministry of Earth Sciences, the earthquake had its epicentre in KURIL ISLANDS and measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.

Meanwhile, there was no information about any damage to property or loss of life till the last reports came in.
