Shiekh Adnan, a 15-year old boy from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, has emerged as yet another young star from the region after winning a gold medal in the princesses cup international Championship held at the University of Bangkong Thailand.
The young star said while talking to Kashmir Scenario over phone said that he had been working very hard from many years.
“I am very happy to win this medal. I had been practising for this since the past one year. It was difficult, but I still won the fight,” a delighted Adnan further said.
While Adnan, won three consecutive fights beating Philipines, Ethopia and Indonesia
Adnan’s coach Faisal Ali revealed that they had faced a lot of hurdles to reach so far, especially because of the unavailability of enough sources in the state. Well it is proud moment for us.
Earlier, an eight-year-old girl from Bandipora, Tajamul Islam had clinched Gold at the World Kickboxing Championship and Hashim Manzoor at Delhi in Karate Championship.
