Srinagar 12 March (KNB): Government of Jammu and Kashmir recently issued an order appointing yasmeen khan ex – Director Sher-e- kashmir international Centre(SKICC) as the new chief executive officer wullar – mansbal development authority vide order number 81-TSM of 2019
The order copy reads” It is hereby ordered that Mst Yasmeen khan presently posted in the administrative department shall look after the work of chief executive officer , wullar-manbal devolopement authority in addition to her own duties till regular arrangement is made by the general administration department
Pertinently, The wullar- mansbal development authority was without the head from last six months after the retirement of the former CEO while svarious development works were at halt. The local bodies thanked the governor administration for appointing the new executive officer to ensure the preservation of the famous assets of Bandipora district
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau Abdul Salam said “the appointment of yasmeen khan as CEO of wullar development authority is a very good step as she is one of the dedicated and sincere official of the state administration and has experience of 30 years in the public working
He further added that we hope that she will change the discourse of these famous water bodies and upgrade them to promote them as the tourist destination.”
