Srinagar, May 31(KNB): A group of students from Kashmir University alleged that all departments have issued notification for Phd seats except Political Science department leaving students in chaos.
The students alleged that the administration had not responded to the demands of those seeking admission for Phd degree in political science while all other departments have issued admission notification for the students .
One of the student said,”this is quite grave injustice for us as every department has issued admission notification for Phd degree except political science department ,we want KU authorities to issue admission for our department as well and save oue carrer.”
Another student said,”the admission session has started and every department has issued notification regarding Phd degree except our political science department which is quite injustice for us.”
While talking to Kashmir News Bureau Pir Zada Irshad Ahmad HOD political Science Department said,” we had already 101 students enrolled for Phd section, we will give first prefrence to those students and we can not issue notification till their completion as we don’t have extra seats for admission in phd degree, for this session there won’t be any seat for phd degree in political science department.”(KNB)
