Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid on Thursday said that no juvenile would be lodged in police lock-up in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said separate rooms would be built in police stations in the state for juveniles until the establishment of juvenile homes.
*“The juveniles would be lodged in these separate rooms where they would counselled,”* he told media , on the sidelines of a seminar on juvenile justice at Police Headquarter in Srinagar.
