Laskhar threatens Naeem Akhtar for ‘forcing people to resume work

Stating that the ongoing uprising in Kashmir is not against the education system but against India that is illegally holding Kashmir, Lashkar-e-Toiba on Tuesday threatened Education Minister Naeem Akhtar of dire consequence ‘if he continues to force people to resume normal work.”

“Akhtar should desist from forcing people to end the strike. People of Kashmir are educated who can differentiate between good and bad. The present struggle is not against education system but against Indian occupation. If Naeem Akhatr didn’t budge we will initiate action against him,” Mehmood Shah the LeT chief said. In a statement to news agency CNS, Mehmood Shah the LeT chief castigated India for ‘spreading lies about Kashmir issue.’ “It is really a shameful act on part of India that it is teaching world community about the disastrous effects of terrorism while in Kashmir it has unleashed a reign of terror where it has been killing innocent civilians and blinding youth,” he said.

“On the one hand India is claiming that Kashmir is its integral party while on the other it is suppressing and oppressing people of Kashmir. Does any country torment its own people. India is taking the shelter of falsehood,” he said adding that India’s attempt to put a carpet on truth will not succeed.
