Kashmiri Dance Group wins inter college annual fest “Spardha 13” A Ski to win

Punjab 01-Mar-2013: DR IT group Banur, a leading group of institutions in Punjab celebrated its 6th inter college annual fest “Spardha 13” A Ski to win. The event included comedy show(ZARA SA HAS KE DIKHA), Sell me (AD-MAD SHOW), Debate(TURN THE COAT), Dance(ZUBY DUBY), Music(SUR SANGAM) , Fashion shows(STYLE Q) , Business quiz(BIZZ Q),LOK SABHA( PARLIAMENTARY DICUSSION),Be an entrepreneur (BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION),Crack me (CASE STUDY) and IT events like (IT QUIZ) TECH Q, Debugging(EAGLES EYE) and Blind Coding(ERROR MIRROR).
About 200 students from 16 colleges across the city participated in the Annual Fest. Mr Dinesh K Goyal former Chairman UBS Chandigarh was the chief guest of the fest.

While Inaugurating the function Shri M K Mahajan Chairman of DR IT Group said, “Be it fine arts, performing arts or management and IT skills, we have the stage set for youngsters to take over.”

The CEO of DR IT Group, Smt Deepti Batra while interacting with the students said, “We gave chance to young students to showcase talents, to take that leap that students were afraid to, to take that plunge that petrified them and to come out on the other side victorious. We offered one shot at fame that students have always longed for.”

Students and Faculty at DR IT group every year lead this show with full enthusiasm, and novelty of concept, Right from conceptualization of idea, selection of theme, using their skills to make Spardha 13 a huge success, with added flavour of fun. DR IT Banur, always had a captivating aura, and naturally attracts business and IT students and enthusiasts. This has evolved over a period of time and created a natural and unique brand, and people wait to come here for celebrations. This management festival also provides a real life learning platform to the students of DR IT Banur as they were involved in it right from planning to execution.

The event was out shined by the performance of a kashmiri  group (Kashmiri Ishq Zaday Dance Group) which was headed by  Rayees Ahmad Bhat. The group included Malik Sameed, Imran sumj,i showket ali, shoaib mohmmad saraf, aamir rasheed, shoaib  naseer khan, mohd mushtaq as translator of kashmiri song and Owais Rashid Ganai as chirography.
