Srinagar, May 25 (KNB): The number of deaths due to pandemic Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir has risen to 22 on Monday, with one more death of a 63-year-old lawyer at a hospital in Jammu.
As per the reports, the elderly lawyer resident of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu suffering from underlying ailments returned positive for the deadly Caronavirus after his death at the hospital.
With his death, the toll due to the coronavirus across Union territory has risen to 22, 19 from Kashmir and 3 from Jammu division.
Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 1621 confirmed cases with 791 cases active, 22 deaths and 809 recoveries so far.(KNB)
