Srinagar, May 25 (KNB): Two militants were killed in an encounter that rages between militants and government forces in Khur Hanjipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.
As per the reports, a cordon and search operation was launched by joint team of Police, army’s 34 RR and CRPF in Hanjipora following some credible inputs, as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
Two militants have been killed in encounter, however sources revealed more militants are believed to be trapped.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted between security forces and protesters near Encounter site in Manzgam Dh pora Area of Kulgam district.
Moreover, the internet services have been snapped in the twin districts of South kashmir, Shopain and Kulgam.(KNB)
