Srinagar, March 9, 2014:
Continuing the mass contact program of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, its senior leaders and chairman of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zaffer Akbar Bhat today visited several areas of Srinagar Budgam including Bagi-Mehtab, Gutapora, Dangerpora and addressed several meetings. He was accompanied by several party leaders including Mohd Rafiq, Molvi Mustaq, Molvi Rashid, Beigh Aijaz and Shafi Kashmiri.
During addressing gatherings and meetings, Zaffer Akber Bhat cautioned general public to remain alert about anti-freedom polices. He said that sham elections couldn’t be substitute of freedom for which kashmiris and pro-freedom leadership has given uncounted sacrifices. He said that kashmiris have given sacrifices for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue not for economic packages or water electricity and roads.
Zaffer said that Indian main stream parties who are befooling the public should know how much scarifies people have given for the resolution of Kashmir issue. “Till Kashmir gets resolved according to aspirations of Kashmiri people we will continue to fight.” He maintained.
Meanwhile Zaffer Akbar bhat today visited the octogenarian leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s and inquired about his health. He paryed for the early recovery of the veteran pro-freedom leader and has appealed people of the state for the same.He also visited to the residence of Javed Ahmed Mir chairman liberation front(H) and inquired about health ,his eye was operated last week in hospital.
At Gutapora today Zaffer Akbar Bhat paid glorious tributes to Shaheed Ultaf and Sahheed Imtiyaz Ahmad and said that their martyrdom will not be allowed to go in vain. He expressed sympathy and solidarity with the parents of both martyrs.
Zaffer Akbar bhat addressing the mourning meet organized in memory of religious scholar late syed Marhoob kamli’s wife. He through light on the subject of death and acknowledged their role in ongoing freedom struggle. He expressed sympathy with family and prayed for the deceased soul.
He also expressed sympathy with the family of Molvi Manzoor Ahmad over the death of mother and daughter in road accident
