Youth PDP held day-long meeting at Pulwama

Hundreds participated to discuss developmental initiatives

Pulwama, Jul 18 : While government is gearing up the developmental activities in the state, President, Youth wing of People’s Democratic Party held a day long youth meeting in South Kashmir’s Pulwama, where a gathering of hundreds participated.




Underlining the efforts and intent of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for development and empowerment of the youth of the State Jammu and Kashmir, PDP Youth President, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra reiterated party’s commitment to develop the state in modern lines and to create enabling atmosphere of development for youth of the state.

He said that the government is reaching out to youth in a big way in each and every district of the state besides for developmental works and resolution of the pending works, problems faced by the general public.

“To accord priority to ongoing developmental projects in the district including macdamization and time-bound completion of various developmental works so that the benefits percolate to the people,” said Waheed Ur Rehman Parra.

Speaking on the occasion, Parra listed the recent development specific initiatives of the Government. He also said that people are getting benefitted from various schemes available with the government.

He also said, “In order to see the better future Youth should rope in the schemes available with the various government departments of the State,” he added.

“State Government is committed to provide better facilities to the people for which concerted efforts are being made to improve the service delivery mechanism.”




Besides Youth PDP District President, youth leaders and hundreds of people were present on the occasion. (KNS)
