Sopore 3 April(KNB):Acting on a specific input Security forces arrested two Over ground workers from Sidiq Colony area of Sopore in North Kashmir Baramulla district on Thursday night.
Official reports confirmed to Kashmir News Bureau that two Over Ground Workers were apprehended by a Joint team of Army’s 22 RR and Sopore Police at Sidiq Colony area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday night and added that arms and ammunition were recovered from the duo.
Meanwhile official sources in army identified arrested OGWs as Waseem Ahmad Gojri s/o Ghulam Mohidin and Junaid Rashid Ganie s/o Abdul Rashid Rs/o Noorbagh Sopore.
The Arms and Ammunition recovered from their possession include Pistol =1, pistol magazine =1, pistol rounds =5 UBGL launcher=1, UBGL grenade =2.
SSP Sopore Mr Javid Iqbal told that we have arrested two OGWs and arms and Ammunition have been recovered from the duo and Police has registered a FIR No 61/20 u/s 7/25 A.Act. 4/5 Explosive Substance Act, 18. 20. 23 ULA(P) in this regard and further investigations have been taken up.(KNB)
