Amid lockdown, Rajouri man starts cycling from Mumbai to reach his ailing father

Srinagar, April 02(KNB): A person working as a security guard in Bombay has begun travelling on cycle to his hometown in Rajouri due to lack of public transport after his father suffered Brain homerage attack.

Amid 21 days nationwide lockdown, Mohammed Arif has begun his journey on cycle from Bombay to Rajouri.

Arif, while talking to Kashmir News Bureau on phone said, “I got a phone call from my home that my father had Brain hamarage and none of the hospital are admitting him,  As being the only grown up boy in the family. there is nobody to be with him at this critical time.”

He said, ” I have started my journey on cycle with only Rupees eight hundred from Bombay and have reached Gujrat Borders with a hope  that someone will help me in this difficult situation so that I will reach Rajouri and get my father admitted.”

When Kashmir News Bureau contacted SP Rajouri Liaqat Choudary he said, “I assure you on my behalf that I will look into this matter and will send a team to help the said person.”(KNB)
