Hyderabad, June 7(KNB): In a melancholy, after a brief fight with deadly Covid-19, a 36-year-old journalist breathed his last on Sunday at the state-run Gandhi Hospital.
Besides testing positive for the Coronavirus, the journalist was also suffering from bilateral pneumonia with Type-1 respiratory failure and Acute Respiratory Disease Syndrome (ARDS), he was also suffering from Myasthenia Gravis, a long-term neuromuscular disease that leads to varying degrees of skeletal muscle weakness.
Pertinently, some journalists have also tested positive for Covid-19 in the past one week and are undergoing treatment.
As of now, 3496 cases are confirmed in Talengana , with 1663 active , 1710 recoveries and 123 deaths while an overall 2,49,743 cases are confirmed across country with 1,22,736 active cases, 1,20,019 recoveries and 6,975 deaths.(KNB)
