Srinagar 27 February (KNB): The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir with other parts of India, remained shut for any vehicular movement on Saturday morning after landslides occurred at some places along the highway.
The vehicular movement, which was prevented on the National Highway yesterday, remained suspended on Saturday morning in the wake of landslides and shooting stones making the highway impassable for any road traffic activities.
According to the official, from J&K’s winter capital Jammu to Srinagar, the traffic movement for today planned to commence, which was halted this morning after the disruption due to the landslides. (KNB)
