Bandipora 10, March 2017:– Thousands of people across the Bandipora on Friday attended the funeral procession of local militant held at Jinazgah of Malangam village of Bandipora district despite heavy snow.
Despite harsh winter conditions and snowfall more than two thousand people participated in the slain militant’s funeral procession.
According to reports, that A+ militant identified as Mushtaq Ahmad seer Son of Ex Militant Sher Dil Seer of Malangam area of Bandipora was killed during a naka near Police station last night.
According to officials, Mushtaq had joined militancy in March 2015. He was also active since 2016 uprising.
“His father Sher Dil before surrendering was chief commander of Jehad force”. He said
“Mushtaq was most active among the militants who recently joined militant ranks in Bandipora district . He added
According to locals, He was Imam in local Masjid in Malangam before joining the militant ranks.
Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed in Bandipora district over the killing of Hizb militant.
Business establishments vehicular movement is being seen off from roads in the district.
