Thousands of people on Friday attended the funeral prayers of slain militant at Gundbrath in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Amid pro-freedom slogans, Altaf Ahmad Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmad who were killed early Friday during an encounter between forces and militants in Bomai Sopore in Baramulla district were laid to rest.
The gunfight ensued between militants and government forces after forces received specific information about the militants hiding in a residential place and started a search operation.
