Curfew-like-restrictions imposed in parts of Srinagar on the third anniversary of Parliament attack convict Muhammad Afzal Guru on Feb 9.
Guru was hanged in New Delhi’s Tihar jail last year and his body was buried inside the jail premises, triggering days of violence in Kashmir valley.
According of officials, “there will be restrictions in the areas that fall under five police station of Old Srinagar on 9 February.”
The police stations to be under restrictions are Nowhatta, Khanyar, Mahrajgunj, Rainawari, Safakadal and Maisuma.
Meanwhile, separatist groups have called for complete shutdown tomorrow.
