SRINAGAR: Thousands of Pulwama residents in Kashmir attended the funeral of Hizbul Mujahideen militant who was killed with Indian security forces in an encounter in Gundipora village of Pulwama on Saturday.
Soon after the burial of Raqib Bashir on Sunday morning, locals in Pulwama held protest demonstration.
Pro-Azadi and pro-Islam slogans were raised during the burial. Raqib was buried at his native village on Sunday itself.
