One person was killed after a fast moving SRTC bus with regitration no JK01Y 401 hit a man to death at Cheenbal Pattan area of north Kashmir in Baramulla district.
The bus was traveling from Srinagar to Baramulla and hit the man on road while overtaking another vehicle.
The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Gulam Ahmad Ganie son of Gh Hassan Ganie, a resident of Cheenbal Pattan.
Meanwhile the Pattan police has registered a case in this regard under FIR no 128 of 2017 and the bus was seized while the driver escaped from the spot.
