Srinagar Records -1.6 Degree C Last Night, MeT Predicts Dry Weather in Days Ahead

Srinagar 10 February (KNB): The temperature in Srinagar continues to remain below zero on Tuesday night, as J&K is looking for dry weather in the coming days ahead, following -1.2 degree C recorded on Monday night in the summer capital of J&K with last night’s -1.6 degree C.

According to the weatherman, the mercury again remained below zero on Tuesday night in Srinagar with different parts of Kashmir also recording sub-zero last night. The weather in the coming days in Kashmir is going to remain dry in the coming days which MeT has already predicted and has further been cemented with its recent prediction. 

Furthermore, the temperature recorded in Kashmir was — Pahalgam -4.0 degree C, Kokernag -3.5 degree C, Gulmarg -4.0 degree C, Qazigund -3.8 degree C and Kupwara -1.8 degree C.

While the temperature in Jammu was 11 degrees C, Banihal 7.2 degree C, Batote 5.8, Katra 10.2 degree C and Bhaderwah 2.5 degree C. 

Pertinent to mention that Kashmir is going through Chillai Khurd, which is 20 days and will be followed by Chillai Bachha of 10 days. (KNB)
