Srinagar 08 December (KNB): One unidentified militant has been killed by government forces in an ongoing encounter in Shopian’s Check Cholan area, said police.
As per police, an unidentified militant has been killed by forces in the encounter, which started in Shopian’s Check Cholan area this morning.
The encounter started in the early morning after a cordon and search operation was carried out by government forces in the suspected area following having inputs about the presence of militants there.
However, in the ensuing gunfight, one unidentified militant has been killed with encounter still underway in the area, as per police. (KNB)
