His health condition is not good: Family
Srinagar, Mar 14 : Sarjan Barkati, popularly known as Pied Piper of South Kashmir, has been shifted to Srinagar central Jail.
Family sources told KNS that Barkati appeared to a court hearing at Shopian District court wherefrom he was shifted to Srinagar Central jail.
Family sources said that Barkati before being shifted to Srinagar jail was kept at Shopian Police station where he was not feeling good.
It may be noted that Barkati was arrested by Police in October last year. Barkati was instrumental in organising pro-freedom rallies in south Kashmir during the uprising that had erupted after the killing militant commander Burhan Wani. (KNS)
