Srinagar, Apr 21: Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Tuesday nominated Sanjay Saraf as Director on board of National Cooperative Consumer
Federation (NCCF).
The NCCF was established in 1965 to function as the apex body of consumer cooperative societies in the country. “I am thankful to union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and Chirag Paswan for nominating me for this post. It is very important seat and I will put my best efforts to serve the
nation at large from here,” Saraf told Kashmir scenario over
phone.
He added that he would also look into the grievance of the J&K state and would direct concerned officials to redress them shortly. Saraf contested unsuccessfully from Habba kadal constituency in assembly polls last year on Lok Janshakti Party ticket.
