Thousand people assembles at Parvez’s home
Srinagar, Feb 04 : After a rumor on social network sites about the killing of a local Hizb militant in Sopore gunfight on Saturday, thousands of people marched towards his home in Galoora Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Eyewitness told KNS that on social network sites broke wrong news about the killing of Parvez Ahmad a top Hizb ul Mujahideen commander in today’s gunfight in Sopore, thousand of resident from local areas assembled at his home in Galoora village in Handwara Tehsil.
But as soon the images of killed militants were seen, in which the family said these are not Parvez’s images.
Two militants were killed today in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to the police officials, “Police and security forces have thwarted a major militant action by killing two militants in an encounter in Sopore area of North Kashmir today morning.” (KNS)
