Police Recover Illicit Forest Timber From House in Bandipora’s Ketsan Village

 

Accused manages to flee from the spot: Police  

Srinagar 19 February : Police recovered a large quantity of illicit forest timber from the house of a person in Ketsan village of Bandipora district’s Aloosa Tehsil on Saturday, said a police spokesperson. 
The officer said that the search was carried out by a police party led by I/C P P Aloosa Mohammd Mushtaq under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Bandipora Mohammad Idrees Wani and SHO police station Bandipora. 
During the search in the house of the accused, Rafiq Ahmad Turk, a resident of Ketsan village, a huge quantity of illicit forest timber was recovered, said the officer. 
It was further said that the accused managed to flee from the spot, however, police have registered an FIR under relevant sections of law against the accused at police station Bandipora
