Underlining the efforts and intent of chief minister Mehbooba mufti for making youth the agents of change, PDP Youth General Secretary and MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmad Mir reiterated party’s commitment to create enabling atmosphere for youth of the state to realise their potential.
Addressing a youth convention here today, mir said that the PDP realises the important role that the youth must play to get the state out of uncertainty and push it on the road to peace and development.
“The focus of the Chief Minister is very clear. She wants youth to realise their role & potential in order to bring peace and prosperity to the state”, he said.
He added that the party would reach out to youth in a big way to engage with them and to work for resolution of the problems faced by them. He announced that a series of such conventions would be held through out the state for this purpose.
PDP district president Hansraj Kalotra, district general secretary Tariq Mughal, and youth leaders Aijaz Sumberiya, Depinder Pal Dingh, Vikram Singh, Riyaz Atish, Majid shah, Girish Sharma & Sunny Sangral also spoke on the occasion.
