I have been given clean chit
Srinagar, September 18:
Director Rural Development Department, Kashmir, Gazanfar Ali, has termed the news being circulated on social media, following the raid by Vigilance at his residence as an attempt to “malign” his image as “he has been given clean chit” after the search.
On Monday morning Vigilance Organization Kashmir raided my residence after showing proper search warrants, he said. “I cooperated with them fully and after their completion, I was given clean chit,” he added.
Earlier in the social media news was being spread, with reports that the said officer had caused loss to State exchequer.
“The reports are totally baseless and an attempt to malign my image,” Director Rural Development Kashmir said.
