Monga terms new recruitment policy as cheating with youth

Urges govt to reconsider its decision

Srinagar, April 21: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President and MLC G N Monga has termed the recently announced recruitment policy by PDP-BJP government as cheating with youth of the state.

Monga in a press statement on Tuesday reminded the coalition government of its promises made with the youth of the state before and during the elections. “Tall promises the PDP and BJP had made to the people and especially youth are proving to be a hoax with the new recruitment policy unmasking its claims that youth will be its priority,” he said.

The J&K Congress Vice President said that PDP-led government had pledged transparency will be hallmark of its functioning but now it is cheating unemployed educated youth in the name of new recruitment policy. “Where have the transparency claims of PDP-BJP government gone? It (recruitment policy) is cheating with youth as it will in no way benefit them. It is contrary to the government claims,” Monga added.

Urging the government to reconsider its decision, he said, “The recruitments should be done in a transparent and time bound manner. The policy is bound to fail on ground as it will be marred by the political affiliations at the district levels.”
