MLA Wachi, Pampore and Kokernag likely to be inducted in the new BJP-PDP cabinet.

Srinagar: April 3, 2016: Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, will be sworn in as the first women CM of the Jammu and Kashmir on Monday in a low-key affair in Raj Bhavan, Jammu. The new cabinet head by Mehbooba, however, is expected to witness induction of some fresh faces from PDP.
Sources told Kashmir Scenario, PDP president is inducting fresh faces into her new cabinet and there is likely to be a reshuffle in the ministerial portfolios, which were earlier allocated by her father, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who passed away in New Delhi on January 7. Mehbooba is likely to elevate some junior ministers to the MoS statutes and Cabinet ranks who have performed well and some ministers who had held important portfolios, previously, might be shown the door.
The fresh faces that are likely to be inducted in the new cabinet is MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmad Mir, MLA Pampore, Zahoor Mir, and MLA Kokernag, Abdul Rahim Rather. The new cabinet may also see MLC from Sumbal-Sonwari, Yasir Rishi’s, being inducted as MoS.
Sources privy to the development said that former PWD minister Syed Altaf Bukhari will not be the part of the new cabinet led by Mehbooba Mufti. ” Altaf Bukhari has returned Kashmir a day before the PDP-BJP coalition take second oath taking ceremony,” sources said.
A local daily has also reported that Bukhari hosted the workers at his home constituency- Amirakadal and told them that though he will not be part of the new ministry led by Mehbooba.
Sources in PDP told Kashmir Scenario that those office bearers who had resigned from their posts are likely to be included in the administrative posts like chairman of different boards and in the chief minister’s secretariat after the government formation.
